PiBS: the ideal mix of study and practical experience.

When doing a PiBS (work-study Bachelor’s degree programme), you can combine practical experience and study. You will graduate from your Bachelor’s programme with us after four years and will already have four years of professional experience behind you. We offer a PiBS in the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering, transport systems and IT, for example. The monthly salary is CHF 2,800.

What you can offer.

You have successfully completed your secondary school studies and you are interested in mathematics. You want to do a degree with a practical slant and accompanying work experience and you want to commit to working for us for at least four years.

Get started in signalling with Career Starter Signalling.

During the Career Starter Signalling programme, you will spend 12 months acquiring knowledge and experience of all aspects of signalling at various sites. The attractive entry salary will be based on your individual profile.

What you can offer.

You have a university degree or professional experience, preferably in electrical and mechanical engineering, physics, IT, mathematics or similar – or are looking for a career change. You have a passionate interest in signalling (control of the railway traffic via signal boxes, outside facilities and train control systems/ETCS) and you aspire to a specialist, project or management career path.
