The Rail Technology and Control Career Starter programme is your direct entry into the field of monitoring, maintaining and renewing railway infrastructure. You will contribute to keep the railway installations and networks at SBB safe and in optimal condition. The programme gives you the opportunity to develop in a varied, dynamic and future-oriented environment and to become part of a specialised team in the long term. 

Gain experience and actively contribute.

Right from the start, you’ll be working on practical projects and deepen your technical know-how. Depending on your interests, you’ll focus on monitoring, maintaining or renewing signalling systems, tracks, catenary and cable installations. Alternatively, you will be involved in the production planning and control or implement projects aimed at optimizing and further developing our infrastructure. In doing so, you will conduct analyses, participate in conceptual work, and prepare documents for decision-making bodies. Your work will be essential to the successful implementation of key projects.
