Return to work in a dynamic environment.

As an HR support employee, you form part of a dynamic team in the HR department Sourcing, Recruiting & Talents and help your work colleagues find new talents. You are the first point of contact for potential candidates and provide advice by phone and by e-mail. You provide information about the application process, job profiles, the start of training and many other topics. Your friendly and helpful attitude contributes significantly to making the candidates’ experience a positive one and secure SBB’s position as an attractive employer. You also provide our HR staff with administrative support in the recruitment process by advertising jobs online, planning job interviews and managing our pool of applicants. 

The programme in detail.

The return-to-work programme Back to Business as an HR support employee runs in Bern and can be followed part-time with a minimum working percentage of 50%. The programme starts in February 2021 with an introduction programme and runs for twelve months. Over this year, we bring you right up to date with current technologies and ways of working. We show you how to use the current version of Microsoft Office, and also how to book meetings and organise your work digitally. You also learn how to work together agilely in holocratic teams. After the theoretical introduction, you get started with practical training and advise internal and external stakeholders about all aspects of their work at SBB. 

You can set your working time flexibly and in agreement with your team when you start. If you are assigned to taking phone calls, you work from 8am to 12 midday and/or from 1pm to 5pm. You can work from home after an introduction phase.

What you can offer.

Your original training and past professional experience are not of crucial importance for your return to work as an HR support employee. Instead, what matters most to us is that you show great customer focus, work with precision and have excellent communicative abilities. You must also have very good knowledge of at least two national languages (German, French and/or Italian). You value teamwork, but also enjoy working independently and have a solution-orientated personality.
