Rainer Blaser to leave STC Switzerland Travel Centre.

Rainer Blaser, the CEO of STC Switzerland Travel Centre AG, has decided to take on a new challenge. Having worked at STC for over six years, he will leave the company at the end of 2011. The Board of Directors and Management Board of STC regret his decision.
At the end of December 2011, Rainer Blaser (aged 36) will leave STC to take up a new challenge. Until then, he will remain in his role as CEO of the company. Alongside his deputy, Beat Bächler, he will continue to ensure that operations run smoothly at STC. The Board of Directors and the Management Board of STC regret the departure of Rainer Blaser, and would like to thank him for his tremendous commitment and congratulate him on his new professional challenge. The search for a successor has begun.
After joining STC's Management Board as CFO in 2005, Rainer Blaser has managed the company's business activities since February 2009. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Credit Suisse, primarily in the corporate client advisory area. Rainer Blaser holds a degree in business administration and is a Swiss federally certified expert in accounting and controlling.
