Travel cheaply with children to Germany, Austria and Italy.

Children under 16 accompanied by an adult over 16 can now travel to Germany for free. Customers will only be required to pay for their seat reservation.
Before now, children and young people under 16 could only travel for free when accompanied by a parent or grandparent. Accompanied children can also travel between Switzerland and Austria for free.
Children under 16 accompanied by an adult over 16 can travel from Switzerland to Italy on the EuroCity train for a fixed price of CHF 14 in 2nd class and CHF 16 in 1st class each way. A maximum of four children per accompanying adult can travel for free in all the countries mentioned above.
