Station usage for Switzerland’s largest railway stations.
News, 27.08.2020
On SBB.ch, you can now find a station usage indicator for Switzerland’s largest railway stations. That makes it easier for you to plan travel and shopping at our stations and avoid busy commuter times.
Switzerland’s largest stations are not just public transport hubs. They are also shopping centres and places to meet. Maintaining sufficient distance in the current coronavirus context is sometimes difficult at these central locations. In particular, peak time commuter flows are getting back to normal levels.
We are providing the new station usage indicator to help you plan your day and show how busy your station will be. That means that – if you wish – you can move your trip to the station to times when fewer passengers are travelling.
The new feature shows you a bar diagram on the relevant station page, showing how busy the station is on a given day at a given time. The figures are based on averages over previous weeks.
