Conditions of entry.

Competition entrants are not entering into any contractual or other legal obligations with SBB or miscellaneous third parties. Details supplied by competition entrants will not be passed on to third parties or made available to third parties for use. Only persons of legal age with legal capacity are eligible to participate in this prize draw. SBB employees and their families as well as agencies appointed by SBB and their employees are not eligible to enter this competition. By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by the competition rules:

In the event of a tie, the winner will be drawn randomly. All winners will be notified personally by e-mail. The main prize is personal and non-transferable. SBB Partner Sales is entitled to publish the name of the winner in the newsletter. The closing date for entries for the instant prize draw will be announced with each quiz. To take part in the main prize draw, you can also complete the quizzes retrospectively on the SBB Partner Sales website.

2. Competition entry.

For a valid entry into the prize draw, the entrant must have entered the prize draw and registered via the form. This information will be transmitted automatically to SBB. No purchase necessary. All persons with a valid Swiss postal address are eligible to participate.

The prize draw shall begin on 3.3  and end automatically on 31/12/2021.

The prizes will be awarded among all entrants after the competition has closed. Winners will be selected at random.

3. Selection and notification of prize winners.

After the determination, the winners will be informed in writing about the prize at the address provided.

4. Delivery of prizes.

The prize shall be sent exclusively to the winners. Prizes are distributed as non-cash prizes only and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. The prize shall be automatically sent by SBB to the address provided after the winner has replied. At that point, the risk related to the non-cash prize is transferred to the prize winner. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

5. Disqualification from the competition.

SBB reserves the right to disqualify individual entrants from the competition if there are justifiable reasons for doing so, e.g. violation of the conditions of entry, interference with the competition, manipulation, etc.

6. Legal recourse.

No correspondence shall be entered into concerning the prize draw. The organiser’s decision is final. There is no legally enforceable claim to the transfer, cash payout or exchange of prizes. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.

7. Changes to the rules of entry and termination of the competition.

SBB reserves the right to alter the competition, entry or prize draw conditions at any time. Moreover, SBB reserves the right to end or suspend the competition at any time. This applies in particular if there are grounds that would impede or prevent the planned competition process.

8. Limitations of liability.

To the extent permitted by law, any liability on the part of SBB is excluded.

9. Severability clause.

In the event that individual provisions of the conditions of entry are ineffective or unenforceable, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions will remain unaffected. The ineffective or unenforceable provisions shall be replaced by effective and enforceable provisions whose effects are as consistent as possible with the objective pursued by SBB. These Conditions of entry may be amended by SBB at any time.
