A nine-floor building will be constructed (120m long/35m wide). Four levels underground and on the ground floor will provide space for motor and two-wheel vehicles.
Retail units are planned for the ground floor. The floors above will house technical installations and rental space.
Part of the building’s roof structure will support platform five which will be extended to accommodate 400m trains.
Long-term, a walkway will cross the ‘Avenue William-Fraisse’ to link the future car park with the new building on the southern side.
The top of the building’s façade will be fitted with photovoltaic panels, enabling electricity generation. The rooftop will be greened to enable ecological compensation and promote biodiversity.
The support wall, built to the east of the car park along the tracks, will have a noise-protection barrier.
A water retention basin will be built behind the support wall opposite the building’s west façade.
