Engineering work updates.
We are currently carrying out the following work:
In the previous phase, two new tracks were laid between Prilly-Malley and the bridge on avenue Marc-Dufour (entrance to Lausanne station). During two weekends of intensive work in August 2020, the track on the side nearest the lake was connected to the existing tracks at the entrance to Lausanne station. The stage of construction work running from September to December 2020 involves connecting the second new track to the existing tracks. The two tracks on the side nearest the mountains and their infrastructure will then be completely rebuilt and put into service successively during the summer of 2022.
Work is scheduled during the day, at night and at weekends. We will inform you of noise in advance by means of a letter in the post. Trains have been running on the new, southernmost track between Lausanne and Prilly-Malley since 20 April 2020.
