As a career starter in SAP, you’ll be gaining knowledge and experience in the SAP environment. You’ll undertake three training placements in exciting core areas, such as technology consulting, system operation, service management, HR management, finance and controlling or logistics (supply chain, production, maintenance).

Start and duration.

The programme starts in April or September and lasts 18 months. You can decide on your level of employment (between 60 and 100 percent). This means you enjoy enough leisure time outside of work.

You hold a university degree (university or university of applied sciences with Bachelor/Master level) in computer sciences, business informatics or business administration. You’ll have a strong interest in the SAP environment and mobility of the future. Possessing knowledge of the SAP application from a previous position is advantageous. You will have strong communication skills, adopt a solution-oriented approach, demonstrate a high degree of personal initiative and have an interdisciplinary mindset. Good knowledge of German (B2) and English (B1) are required for this role.

Remuneration.

You’ll receive an attractive full-time starting salary of CHF 80,000 a year.

Over the course of your various training placements, you’ll gain knowledge and experience in your chosen specialist field and apply it directly. You’ll also complete our introduction programme with the opportunity to expand your specialist knowledge in specific courses.

A personal coach will accompany you throughout your Career Starter Programme and help you to settle in at the company, to choose the best training programmes and to find the right placements for you.

Network building.

As you will be working on projects in various departments, you will be able to build up a large network and become part of the SBB Young Talents community.

Permanent position.

The Career Starter programme will have you perfectly prepared for a permanent position at SBB.
