The entry-level programme in detail.
Immediately after graduating from school, you start an apprenticeship as an IT specialist in application development with a Federal VET Diploma with an integrated higher vocational school leaving certificate (Berufsmaturität). During this time, you attend vocational school two to three days a week. As early as the third year of your apprenticeship, you will obtain the Berufsmatura (vocational school leaving certificate) and then start the four-year part-time bachelor’s degree programme. During this time, you attend a university of applied sciences one day a week. A great advantage of this is that your individual practical assessment (IPA) counts both as an apprenticeship diploma and as a semester thesis at the university of applied sciences. In the final year of your studies, you will set your own course for a permanent position within SBB.
Modern working environment.
Build the foundation for your future and get started at SBB: from day one, you’ll be working on meaningful projects in agile teams. Your opinion is important to us and your work will be valued. Together with other young talents you will enjoy the creative task of getting Switzerland moving. Work with us to make a valuable contribution to the sustainable development of the mobility of the future.
