Requirements for capturing point clouds.
If a project is carried out using the BIM method, models of the existing assets are required. Point clouds provide an important basis for this.
The document “Requirements for capturing point clouds” summarises the applicable data requirements.
It contains the following information, among other things:
- Requirements for deliverables, e.g. prescribed data formats (.las, .laz, SLPK, etc.)
- Requirements for mission reports
- Requirements for perimeters to be captured
Like the specialised data catalogue (FDK) and the regulations for building models, the requirements for capturing point clouds form part of the cross-project data requirements.
