  1. Evo – new S-Bahn multiple units.

    Together with its subsidiaries Thurbo and RegionAlps, SBB is to procure 286 new single-deck multiple units for use in regional services. Stadler has been awarded the contract. Its offer was the best in terms of both cost and quality.

  2. Giruno.

    With a mind to the expected increase in demand on the Gotthard route, SBB ordered 29 Giruno multiple unit trains from Stadler. The fleet is now complete.

  3. Long-distance double-deck train.

    SBB is procuring 62 double-deck trains for long-distance traffic from Alstom (Bombardier) for around CHF 1.9 billion.
