The Finance Department is responsible for the financial management of SBB and its subsidiaries.

The department ensures that the Group has uniform accounting principles and consolidated actual and target figures. It procures and manages financial resources and is responsible for controlling investments and holdings at Group level. It is also responsible for tax matters and central insurance management.

Business economist at the University of Applied Sciences in Business Studies (HWV) and further training at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne. He previously worked as Associate Partner and Director at the auditing and consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, was CFO and deputy CEO of Starbucks Switzerland/Austria, CFO of Hilti Switzerland, Northern Europe and Great Britain, and most recently Head of Global Group Controlling.
