Broye lines.
In order to keep pace with the economic and demographic development of the region, modernisation work is being carried out on the lines of the Broye.
The economic upswing in the Broye is considerable thanks to the settlement of new companies. Its population trend is also the highest in Switzerland, with an increase of more than 20% by 2030 (2018 figures).
To accompany this development, the FOT, the SBB, the canton of Vaud and the canton of Fribourg are working together to improve rail services on the lines in the Broye.
