Corporate Security.
The unit is responsible for issuing security directives and managing a cross-unit security management system intended to guarantee the security level specified by the Group.
This includes conducting an ongoing risk assessment and defining binding security goals to promote a culture of security throughout the Group.
Corporate Security is divided into the specialist units Investigation, Physical Security and Prevention.
- The Investigation unit focuses on the areas of forgery and fraud and threat management.
- The Physical Security unit institutes preventative measures of a structural and technical nature (e.g. video surveillance) to protect against incidents caused by those with malicious intent, which could harm SBB employees, customers or installations.
- The Prevention unit is responsible for matters regarding violence and crime prevention in the rail environment. The RailFair prevention programme is an integral part of this.
