Train-control centre South in Pollegio controls rail traffic in the Southern Switzerland region. In future, all rail traffic on the Gotthard axis will be controlled from here. In addition to the route from Arth-Goldau to the Italian border, the two base tunnels "“Gotthard” and “Ceneri” are also monitored from TCC South. A total of around 180 people work at TCC South.
