Interested in learning more about the train-control centre West? Sign up for a guided tour.
Today, around half of the rail traffic in the Western Switzerland region is controlled from Lausanne. The whole of the French-speaking part of Switzerland, including the cities of Geneva, Lausanne, Biel/Bienne, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Delémont and Sion. At the heart of it all is the control room, with 76 workstations. A total of 350 people work around the clock at TCC West.
Due to the move to Lausanne, there will be no guided tours from July to the end of 2024. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2025.
