ISAC stands for ‘Information Sharing and Analysis Center’. Sector-specific expertise on cyber security will be pooled through the ISAC structures of the rail industry and relevant skills will be made available to all Swiss rail infrastructure operators.  

The Rail ISAC organisation currently being set up aims to increase resilience and provide the Swiss rail sector and its infrastructure with even better protection against cyberattacks. In the event of an attack, partner railways can be provided with advice on how to deal with the incident.

The Rail ISAC team not only exchanges information with partners at the national level, but also at the international level, protecting Swiss railway companies and their infrastructure as part of Switzerland’s public services and critical infrastructure.
