Building technology specialist: operate and maintain our facilities.
At SBB Real Estate, you support the development and management of 793 railway stations, 3500 buildings and 3700 properties and sites in the vicinity of the railway.
Maintenance and repair.
You regularly check the condition of our properties and ensure effective infrastructure facility management. You are responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work to help maintain our technical facilities, equipment, machines and vehicles, and keep them in perfect condition at all times, while reporting any damage or defects directly to the office responsible. You consult with your supervisors on preventative measures and provide support by pointing out safety-related work that needs to be done. Working as a building technology specialist, you are always interacting with tradespeople, suppliers, customers and tenants. You also supervise external suppliers when they are conducting planned or unplanned work in and around the buildings.

Safeguard building technology.
As a building technology specialist, you oversee the functions of the buildings you’re responsible for, as well as the technology within them. You also review the planning of maintenance, including the required evidence. You carry out small repairs and maintenance work on the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and electrics) technical systems in the building. When necessary, you obtain quotes and supervise tradespeople on site.
