Please dismount and walk at the station.

Thank you very much for pushing or carrying your vehicle.

We offer you the greatest possible safety at the railway station. Our aim is to ensure that all passengers and passers-by feel safe and comfortable. For this reason, vehicles of all kinds, such as bicycles, scooters and skateboards, are prohibited on the entire station site, i.e. on platforms, ramps, stairs, concourses, passageways and underpasses.

Of course, wheelchairs and authorised journeys are permitted.

We therefore ask you to respect the riding ban to help avoid accidents.

Accident risks.

  • A man riding a scooter does not comply with the riding ban on the railway premises and runs into another traveller on the platform. The traveller is knocked to the ground.
  • A woman on a skateboard does not comply with the riding ban on the railway premises and crashes into a wheelchair user on the platform. The wheelchair user holds out his arm to protect himself and the woman falls off her skateboard.
  • A man on a bicycle does not comply with the riding ban on the railway premises, loses his balance on the platform and falls. He hits the ground and his bicycle falls in front of an oncoming train.

Please note that violations of the riding ban will be prosecuted.

Station ordinance.

The riding ban is part of the station ordinance. This applies to all passengers, customers and passers-by in all SBB station areas.
