Common Data Environment (CDE).

The CDE is a cloud-based platform that is used in BIM projects at SBB. SBB provides the project team with the Project-CDE SBB for collaboration purposes.

Model-based collaboration takes place on the Project-CDE SBB. The project team uses the platform to coordinate and communicate. The contractor also submits the required BIM delivery results on the platform. And the ordered use cases are also processed on the Project-CDE SBB or converge there.

The Project-CDE SBB is part of the project environment. It is connected to SBB tools with internal and external users, to external tools, and to an optional external Project-CDE. The SBB data management environment includes the AIM – CDE (inventory systems). It is connected to the Project-CDE SBB.
