Geneva: advance upgrades.

For the construction of the underground station, four phases are planned between 2019 and 2026 in Geneva, La Praille and near to Vernier-Meyrin.

La Plaine–Geneva: rail stations.

In order to increase comfort for passengers and the capacity of trains on the Geneva–La Plaine line, SBB is carrying out work to modernise and upgrade the infrastructure of 6 stations.

Morges-Perroy: new double railway line.

The project involves building a new double-track line approximately 15km long between Morges and Perroy, 8km of which will be in tunnel. This is the first stage in the construction of a new line between Lausanne and Geneva.

Vernier-Meyrin-Cargo.

We are creating new sidings for passenger trains.

La Plaine–Geneva: Complete renewal.

As part of the maintenance of its network, the SBB renews several portions of the railway infrastructure between La Plaine and Vernier (ballast, sleepers, rails, contact line and some structures), also called "Ligne du Mandement".

Morges: modernisation of accesses and platforms.

Morges station will be completely modernised and secured in order to absorb the current significant flow of passengers and to accommodate the increase in passengers expected by 2035.

We are revitalising Lausanne station to transform it into an ultra-convenient mobility hub.

Renens: rail station.

The installations at Renens rail station are being improved in order to provide better mobility options for you and improve the interfaces between different forms of public transport.

We have modernized this structure so that it can accommodate new tracks, enabling us to improve the human-powered mobility facilities and streamline the flow or traffic.

Denges–Morges: third track.

Creating the third track will allow freight trains to enter and leave Lausanne marshalling yard without disrupting the flow of passenger trains.

Coppet–Founex: Freight passing track.

We are built a freight passing track so that passenger trains can overtake slower freight trains.

Mies–Chambésy: new stations for more trains.

We have built two crossings at Mies (Vaud) and Chambésy (Geneva) so that we can place the Léman Express in service.
