The central platform at Coppet station is too narrow in some places, making the wait uncomfortable for passengers.

The entrances and platforms are no longer large enough to accommodate the ever-increasing number of trains and passengers in Coppet.

The station needs to be upgraded to meet legal standards relating to access for people with disabilities and must also be made step-free.

• Bringing safety distances on the central platform up to standard
• Bringing the passenger underpass up to standard
• Increasing the capacity of the central platform and its access points
• Renovating and extending platform 1 to create a usable length of 235 metres
• Bringing access to the passenger underpass up to standard on the Jura side
• Renovating the deck of the Greny aqueduct (next to the station)
• Renovating ageing railway installations

• 2026: Public consultation on the project 
• 2028–2030: Construction work (Subject to receiving a construction permit)
